Sudan Media Forum (SMF) is a professional platform that aims to support Sudanese media professionals, both in exile and within Sudan, by providing a collaborative environment for journalistic work, safety measures, and professional growth.
Sudan Media Forum (SMF) is looking for a dedicated part time Editor to ensure all content meets technical and editorial standards. The Editor will report to the SMF Editorial Manager and play a crucial role in upholding the quality of Sudan Media Forum’s media productions.
Responsibilities:
- Review and edit all content for technical and editorial accuracy.
- Work closely with journalists and the editorial team.
- Ensure adherence to Sudan Media Forum’s editorial standards.
- Collaborate with the Editorial Manager to improve content quality.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Arabic (written and spoken) and preferably English.
- Relevant degree in journalism, media studies, or related fields.
- Strong editorial and content review experience.
- Knowledge of press freedom and media ethics in Sudan.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and maintain quality standards.
